Discipline Without Anger
Welcome!
I am convinced that the biggest problem in education today is teacher weakness in classroom management. Think of the massive number of teachers who would be greater if only they could improve their classroom management skills. Not only that, but think of the number of potentially great teachers who are not even in the profession simply because of fear of misbehaving students. That is why I am on a mission to do whatever I can to help fix this problem. Unchecked student misbehavior is damaging the educations of students on a large scale, and something needs to be done about it.
I am the Discipline Doctor--educator, author, and teacher advocate at your service. Send me your questions about anything discipline and I will give you my answer. I want to turn the way that teachers handle classroom discipline upside down. The traditional (and flawed) methods for handling discipline have been going on for too long. Teachers often rely on meanness and intimidation to scare their classes into cooperating. An army of cranky and humorless teachers have been ruling schools for decades. I am here to say that this method is not only stressful and generally unsuccessful for teachers, but that it is also preventing many potentially great teachers from becoming as good as they could be.
Unfortunately, many teachers are not getting the training they need in college to be successful in classroom management. Many of our universities are letting our future teachers down and not preparing them with practical information about dealing with classroom management.
The good news is that successful discipline is not only limited to those who are naturals at it. Effective discipline skills can be learned! This is where I come in. After successfully teaching in American public high schools for over fifteen years, I have developed a program to help people in supervisory positions learn how to overcome the problems caused by ineffective discipline. The answer, my friends, is Discipline Without Anger.

Discipline Without Anger can be used by teachers to gain control of their classrooms and will help them to be at their best. Too much time spent on discipline takes away from the teaching energy and effectiveness of the teacher. Problems with discipline often cause unneccessary stress that could have been avoided.

The principles of Discipline Without Anger can also be used by parents in the home. One of the reasons that teachers have trouble with students is because parents often have trouble with these same children at home as well.

Discipline Without Anger can be used successfully by business leaders when establishing discipline for employees under their supervision. Many employers will be dealing with the same people that teachers recently dealt with in their classrooms.
