*You love what you teach.
*You love who you teach.
Pretty simple, right? So, if you are wondering if you should enter or stay in the teaching profession, it would be wise to measure just how you feel about those two issues. If you are less than enthusiastic about either one of these things, then there is a good chance that you may be getting overly stressed or worn out. It may be time to consider doing something else.
On the other hand, maybe you are stressed out because you simply lost focus on your reason for
teaching. It may be a good idea to remember what got you interested in it in the first place.
Sometimes daily stresses and small defeats can take our focus off of the bigger picture of why we are there in the first place. Always remember to remind yourself of the good that you are doing for young people.
